He thought about how the army on the right was fighting the pointless battle. The opponent was far superior to them, more well trained, greater numbers. It was their pride that made them try. Pointless bloodshed, that's all it was, fools with pride. He heard footsteps near bye, buy never removed his focus from the fires.

The voice belonged to a figure, clad in the armor of the soldiers from the left camp a sign of the victory they would claim. He sat down on the rock next to the man.

Mrs. Deniras patiently waited in the kitchen for Crow to arrive. In the dining room she could hear the others talking.
